Who am I?
I grew up in the small town of Canmore, Alberta. It was here that I fell in love with the mountains and all the activities that they supported. My heart was stolen by Alpine Skiing and I didn’t look back, traveling around the world and competing for Canada for 11 years before injury forced me to reconsidered my life path. This led me to UBC where I’m pursuing an BCom, focusing on how I can get others to care about the environment and spending every last second I can exploring the coast mountains.
This blog is a collection of thoughts on how we are currently doing at changing behaviours, and whether or not certain attempts seem to be working. It is by no means a description of the necessary steps we need to take but is rather an invitation to a conversation, encouraging everyone to get involved.
