I am a socially very active person. I feel equally responsible for serving the community where I live, and I think, I have served successfully, whenever possible. I believe, nothing is more important than being able to give back to my community and I have followed this principle wherever I go.

I am involved in the YMCA of Okanagan with the fund development team, to raise funds to carry out ‘Strong Kids’ program in Kelowna community. My participation along with my team raised money that goes in the support of kids in Kelowna community.

Since May 2015, I am also working as a founding Vice President of Nepalese Scholars’ Association of the UBCO campus. Our team has organized various on and off campus activities such as  Candlelight Vigil, bottle drive and raised about CAD 20,000 and is supporting rebuild a school in Gorkha District, Nepal. We have also helped to raise about CAD 3,000 to the Canadian Red Cross society in the year 2015.
