Nailed It

Outside the rugby stadium, there are mosaics representing English-speaking countries.

Canada has, let’s see, a salmon, a baseball bat, a steamer ship, a moose, a mountie, possibly a representation of logging?

New Zealand has a dolphin, a mountain goat, a palm tree, a lizard, a canoe, and some kind of fern.

Scotland gets a salmon, a quail, a deer, mountains and a river, a thistle, a traditional Scottish dancer, and a highland cow.

England gets Big Ben, a crown, a soccer (foot) ball, a horse, a rose, London Bridge, and the Tower of London.

Wales gets a keep, a rugby ball, a sheep, mountains, and the shape of its country.

And America gets…

Mickey Mouse, a dollar sign, a hamburger and french fries, and a teepee.

I think they nailed us.
