Tenby

We’re staying in Tenby. This is Tenby:

Tenby is considered one of the top three medieval walled towns in Wales, along with Conwy and Caernarfon. Having now been to all three, I think I can say with some authority that if you only visit one medieval walled town in your life, it should be Conwy.

City wall aside, Tenby is a lovely resort town about which I have little intelligent to say other than that the houses are candy-colored, the food is good and the sea, when the British sun deigns to show itself, is as brilliantly blue as the Mediterranean.

Also, tucked in an alley there’s this lovely Tudor-era merchant’s house that looks vaguely like something out of Harry Potter:
