This blog was going to be titled “An Introvert’s Guide to Wales,” but in the fine tradition of such Study Abroad classics as “Seoul Searching” and “A Good Sensei Humor,” I have redubbed it “Wales Watching.”
I don’t know where this page is going to go when I hit the pink button that says POST. I’ve never done this before, mainly because every time espresso says to me: “You know what would be a good idea? Writing a blog,” pessimism replies “Other than your mom, you know who would read your blog? No? Exactly.”
On the other hand, I’m going to be in Cardiff, Wales for the next six months. At a rate of approximately one castle per weekend, by the end of my semester, I’ll have pictures of…many castles. (I was all ready to do that math, and then jet lag squelched it.)
This blog will be full of castle pictures, cathedral pictures, possibly landscape pictures, almost certainly tea shop pictures, and tips for getting to all of the aforementioned locations on a cheapskate student budget. Ideally without having to Talk To People too much. Fellow introverts, you’re welcome.
Your feature presentation will begin as soon as the jet lag wears off.
