I don’t know where this water is coming from. I can’t even see the water. I just hear a plop every minute or two. My windows leak (this is the price you pay for beautiful original leaded-glass windows from 1895), but usually they just drip down my wall and blister my paint. These plops aren’t in the right vicinity for that.
I swear it’s the ceiling that must be leaking, because the plops are coming from one side of my desk, not in front of it, but the ceiling isn’t wet either. I am so confused. Chinese water torture is when you can’t tell when the drops will come. Welsh water torture is apparently when you can’t tell where the bloody things are coming from.
