Success!! The team has come up with two solutions for UBC SEEDS to implement, in order to keep their compost bins clean. The clients are pleased with the results and everyone is looking forward to the actual implementation of the short term solution at the begin of the 2014 fall semester. The long term solution’s implementation is dependent on many factors and might or might not be actualized. The project goals, constraints, learning outcomes and solutions were presented on the poster as pictured below. As well, the team brought along pulp sample, newspapers and a prototypes liner dispenser.
Project Management Learning Achievements
1. It is very important to establish a detailed timeline and modify it as the project goes along to fit the changing needs.
2. It is important to demonstrate leadership, initiative and willingness to step forward in order for the project to be completed to the highest level of achievement.
3. It is important to establish a clear project goal and its related constraints early on.
