Learn how to use Behavioural Insights (BI) to have a positive impact on individuals, communities, organizations, and the planet!
Develop your BI knowledge and skills to help you draw on the behavioural and decision sciences to create and test solutions that change behaviour and tackle the challenges you care about. UBC is once again offering two BI programs geared toward working professionals across sectors:
- Fundamentals of Behavioural Insights: This part-time, online course introduces BI, experimentation, and ethics. Next offered Apr. 22–May 12.
- Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights: This part-time, online program combines coursework and a capstone project to provide rigorous BI practitioner training. Next offered September 2024–May 2025; early-bird application deadline is May 31.
Learn more about these programs and how different career paths can leverage the BI toolkit during a panel webinar on Wed., Mar. 27, 12-1pm Pacific.
Kirstin Appelt (UBC Decision Insights for Business & Society Research Director) will provide an overview of UBC’s BI programs and moderate a discussion between:

- Rachel Yang (Market Research Analyst & Behavioural Scientist with Technical Safety BC),
