We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new resource on the BI wiki:

Anti-Racist & Indigenized Behavioural Science

This new page brings together a number of resources to help us all in our journeys towards an anti-racist, Indigenized practice of behavioural science.

On the page, we walk through:

  • The “WEIRD” history of behavioural science,
  • How we can move toward an anti-racist behavioural science,
  • How we can Indigenize behavioural science,
  • And how we can use this updated practice of behavioural science to tackle anti-racism and Reconciliation.

The page includes:

  • A glossary of key terms
  • Resources for each topic
  • Important dates and ongoing events
  • General resources for Reconciliation and anti-racism
  • Relevant wiki posts

We hope you find the page useful and that you’ll join us in working toward an anti-racist, Indigenized behavioural science. We’ll also be releasing a number of podcast episodes that discuss these topics. Stay tuned!

We look forward to your feedback on additions and edits to the page as we all continue our learning journeys. Please submit suggestions to dibs@sauder.ubc.ca.
