2016 Universities Canada Summer Selection Committee

Enrolment Services Professional (ESP) Eleni Korres has been invited to be a member of the 2016 Universities Canada Summer Selection Committee. The selection committee meeting will take place in Ottawa on July 4 and 5, 2016.

This is a 12 member committee who will be reviewing applications for 20 to 25 scholarships programs and identifying the most qualified applicants to receive awards using pre-determined selection criteria. Universities Canada advocates for Canadian universities at the federal level and provide a forum for university leaders to share ideas. They support students by offering scholarships on behalf of private sector companies and work to bring together universities, governments, private sector communicates and international partners. Eleni’s ongoing work in award adjudications, especially for the Major Entrance Scholarship, and her participation in the award appeals committee makes her a strong contributor. She will bring her knowledge and experience to Ottawa this year!
