Richard joins the ESP team as an SFU alumni with a BA in English. He’s looking forward to working with a large team of experienced and skilled individuals.
The bulk of his previous work experience was in the Apprenticeship and Trades Training sector. Richard spent 4.5 years at the Industry Training Authority (ITA) helping apprentices and tradespeople acquire certification and their Red Seal in Canada. Following that, he ran the trades programs at various Vancouver Career College and CDI College campuses; programs include Construction Electrician, Carpenter and Plumber.
Richard’s main hobby is Coaching ice hockey. For the last 9 seasons he has volunteered as an Assistant Coach with the Richmond Ravens Female Hockey Midget AA team. The team is quite successful and have a total of 3 BC Provincial Championships under their belts in the last 4 years!
