Joseph Kwan and I are excited to pursue a passion and interest of ours in our Analyst Report: Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Apps for Mobile Devices. The purpose of AAC apps is to support people who have no speech (or little speech) with communication. Within an education context, we identified the BC Ministry of Education as an investor and reviewed their Mandate Letter, Service Plan, and annual budget allocations for the special needs community. Next, we explored AAC apps, the local market, buyers, competition, and interviewed a special needs parent for additional context. Lastly, we provided an EVA recommendation and reflections for our Analyst Report. We believe in education for communication, so that everyone can have a voice!
