A1: Measuring the Success of a MOOC

Originally by sarah jones on June 23, 2018

For my A1 topic, I choose Kadenze, a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that has not been around as long as other notable MOOC providers like Coursera and Udacity. I created a videocast using the TouchCast Studio ipad app. All media and text in the video is linked to the source; just tap or click if you want to interact more with the content. The video will be interactive if you watch it on Safari or Google Chrome.

I look forward to feedback. Also, please take my poll at the end of the video.

I had the pleasure of being in a class with Sarah last year. She’s brilliant and she’s since been working to get her own baby off the ground. It’s called Open Teach.

Wow, the video that Sarah created is not only interactive (you can click references and it automatically pauses – go check it out) but it is also filled with a lot a valuable information in a short time.

MOOCs indeed have so much potential
