About

I am completing my Master of Arts in Society, Culture, and Politics in Education, in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  I am new to Vancouver, having moved from Victoria, BC, Canada,  in August 2008. I have a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Victoria, B.C., Canada, and worked as a teacher in New Delhi, India for two years. My favourite things to do are volunteering with children, playing the viola, and exploring Vancouver. In my spare time I teach a program called Roots of Empathy to kindergarten children, and teach courses at Native Education College. I enjoy both teaching and learning, and work at the UBC Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT), as the Community of Practice Developer.

My curriculum vitae (CV) and resume are located on the CV page.
