Joan Schwartz received promotion to Professor and on 1 July 2015 became Head of the Department of Art (Art History and Art Conservation) at Queen’s University, Kingston. She is currently working on a major exhibition and book for the Royal BC Museum, Victoria, on the legacy of pioneer photographer Frederick Dally.
