EVERYTHING IS CHANGING

I’m taking a break from making my cue cards… but I don’t want to get lost in a riveting Fanfiction or be stuck on YouTube. So what did I decide to do? Read all the lovely blogs of our lovely, current Blog Squad!

And then I realized how bad of a blogger I’ve been.

So I decided I’d post a quick update.

AND THEN I ARRIVE AT THE UBG BLOG SITE AND EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED, don’t get me wrong the layout is AWESOME, but CHANGE OMG SO MUCH CHANGES.

If you have the time, check out UBC Wayfinding!

IT’S ACTUALLY USEFUL NOW.

(No offense to the one before, which was nice, but hardly useful since it was just basically an online version of a map that was equally useless… at least for me.)

Um, I guess I’ll spit fire updates in my life and if some tips slip in there then bonuuuus!

  • Cheat sheets don’t help you study unless you study by writing. Want to tackle BIOL 200? Study the learning objectives to the point that you can recite them in your sleep!
  • Don’t cheat on quizzes. Because even though your prof has always used one quiz and let your friends mark it for you, there could be the one class where he doesn’t and there’s three different quizzes and you copied the answers to a different quiz and looked like an idiot. (That wasn’t me though.) (I swear) (Maybe) (It was like 2 questions I swear)
  • Try the tiramisu at Mercanté at Ponderosa. It’s expensive, but HEAVENLY. The pizza too, THAT CRUST IS SO GOOD.
  • The smell of manure is everywhere. I feel so bad for you Vanier people.
  • Volunteering is always lots of fun. If you ever volunteer at Burnaby Hospital, their floors confuse me too. (You come in from ground level and find out you’re on floor 3… wait what?) (Hospitals on hills man…)
  • SKYTRAINS ARE TEMPERMENTAL AND DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU, ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR DELAYS OR YOU COULD GET A GAZILLION WHITE HAIRS TRYING TO MAKE IT TO A CHEM QUIZ ON TIME
  • I FILTERED ALL MY CRYSTALS ON TIME ( If you understand me, dance with me. If you are a science student who will take CHEM 235 in the future, you will understand one day)
  • Forensic anthropology is a science course under the mask of an arts course. You’ve been warned. There is simple and minimal (yet still annoying) math involved.
  • Don’t be that jerk student who walks in the middle of all the construction when there is obviously a designated path for you. If I see you, I will throw things. At you.

I guess that can be it for now!

I think I might just change my blog title to “Kim’s Lists” (Of AWESOME) Because I’m a huge fan of those things. Lists, I mean. Well also awesome things, but, yeah.

ALSO PIXAR IN CONCERT (Vancouver Orchestra playing Disney Pixar Music) IS ON APRIL 30, 2014. AND I’M EXCITED CAUSE I REALLY WANT TO GO BECAUSE DISNEY.
