- Educational Developers Caucus Student Bursary (2012, 2010 and 2008; equivalent to registration fee for national EDC conference — approximate value of each bursary is $250-400)
Masters Degree in Adult Education (Awards):
- Canadian Modern Language Review Best Graduate Student Paper Prize (2005)
- Coolie Verner Prize (2004). This award is granted by UBC Educational Studies to the graduate student who best combines high academic standing and research potential.
- Canadian Association for the Study of Adult Education Annual Conference: Best Student Paper Prize(2004)
- Learn to Lead Award (2004). I was selected as one of 20 female graduate students in BC to attend the Learning to Lead conference on women and leadership. The conference was hosted by the Minerva Foundation.
