Murray completed his Ph.D. in Linguistics in the University of British Columbia in 2013. Murray’s research interests focus on the interaction between language and music, with a particular focus on text setting and tone. He teaches the undergraduate articulatory phonetics/ anatomy course. He is also currently completing the Master of Archival Studies degree in the University of British Columbia.
