Limitations

I can only speculate where my limitations may be, and I may not be able to fully see my limitations until I am in my classroom. However, I think one of my biggest challenges will be the cross-curricular observation. While 10 weeks may seem like a lengthy amount of time, I am unsure whether I will be able to identify if my students have benefitted from my kinesthetic approach to FN theory classes. To make a sound and clear observation on the benefits that kinesthetic learning had on my student’s lives outside of school, as well as on their achievements and behaviors in other classes, I would need more time and further interaction with them, their parents, and other teachers.

The students I will be teaching have a strong attachment to their current teacher. Something that I may struggle with is getting students on board with my teaching philosophy, which could lead to difficulties in classroom management.  For some of these activities classroom size could be an issue. I do however have multiple classrooms to work with and will have to be adaptable making suitable arrangements for my lessons.
