Job Opportunity: Food Justice & Poverty Reduction Policy Analyst

 This position at Gordon Neighbourhood House works under the Director of Community Development to advance a principled, evidence-based and strengths-based approach to food justice and poverty reduction in the West End. This position takes a systems-level focus on the causes and context of poverty and food insecurity in Vancouver’s West End. This includes undertaking policy, research and evaluation functions, including working with the project team to conduct community-based research and analysis. The successful candidate will play a direct role in translating research into new Neighbourhood House initiatives responding to poverty and food security in the West End. As such, this role is appropriate for a person with a passion and skill in community mobilization and program delivery.
