Summer Abroad for LFS students – deadline to apply: Feb 14

It’s true, that most exchanges and study abroad opportunities take place during the academic school year, but if missing a term at UBC is out of the question for you, check out Go Global summer abroad programs. You get that immersive, international study abroad experience without missing a beat during the school year.

As an LFS student, you may also be interested in this year’s Universitas 21 Undergrad Summer School “Shaping the Future City” at the University of New South Wales in Australia. The program will bring together undergrad students from across the world and across disciplines to reflect on the realities of urbanisation facing their own cities as they explore the City of Sydney. UBC offers an award to offset the program fee, accommodation and travel expenses for up to five undergraduate students.

If that program doesn’t sound quite right, check out other Summer Abroad options and search Go Global’s worldwide network of university partners to see where you could be spending your summer. The deadline to apply for these programs is February 14.
