Nov 21: Send a letter to a loved one

Send a letter to loved one poster

This holiday season, why not pick up a pen and write to your loved ones who live far away?

On Friday, Nov 21st, 12-3pm, the UBC United Way Student Committee will be hosting a photobooth in the Irving K Barber lobby. Take your photo, write a note, and the student committee will mail it to your loved ones anywhere in the world, for free.

Why are we doing this?

The UBC United Way Student Committee wishes to raise awareness around seniors isolation and the work that United Way does to help seniors in our community. We do not ask our students to donate. However, if you are interested in being a part of the student committee, please email: winnie.ng@ubc.ca.

For more information about United Way, and how this organization helps children, families, and seniors, please visit the United Way of Lower Mainland website.
