This year for my inquiry project, I was extremely interested in the organization of classes. I completed an project based on the use of pull out classes and compared them to other ways to organize students within a classroom setting. During my practicum, I tried a number of different physical setups and found that I could change the dynamic of the class simply by moving tables around. I also found that by doing some active, engaging lessons, the student services teacher often brought the pull out class back in to give them a chance to be involved in the activity. She then adapted the assignment expectations for those students that needed it. Attached below is my final report that resulted from my inquiry.
