1. Create our class presentation
   1. What is our new initiative?
   2. Why does our body need zinc?
   3. What happens id we don’t have enough zinc in our body? How does zinc deficiency affect our immune system?
   4. Why don’t they have enough zinc in their bodies?
   5. Explain what Teck and UNICEF will do with the batteries we recycle.
   6. Explain which batteries we cannot recycle.
   7. Give our timeline for this initiative.
   8. Why is this important to us at GPE?
2. Create a schedule for the class presentations to be held next week.
3. Inform teachers and advertise on the GPE Website and parent WAAG!
4. Decide what we will collect all these batteries in.

Next week…

We will need to begin the process of counting the batteries we collected and place clear tape on each of them… Safety first!
