Zinc Saves Lives Battery Recycling Campaign
Each year at WE Day Toronto, Teck launches its annual Zinc Saves Lives Battery Recycling Campaign. The 2017-2018 Campaign kicked off in Toronto on September 28, 2017. We encourage students across Canada to recycle used batteries to keep them out of landfills. For every AA battery recycled, Teck will donate the value of zinc recycled to WE in support of zinc and health programming in Kenya.
