This lesson is intended to fullfull the Specific Outcomes in the Geometry Strand (B1) of Foundations of Math 11 [FOM 11] of the B.C. Math Curriculum.  More specifically, it is to “Derive proofs that involve properties of angles and triangles.”

The lesson considers the two ” Achievement Indicators” shown below.

1.1      Generalize the relationships between pairs of angles formed by transversals and parallel lines, with or without technology.

1.2      Prove properties of angles formed by transversals and parallel lines.
