Hey Nutrikids volunteers!

It’s that time of year again. Nutrikids is recruiting TWO new Coordinators for 2017! Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your public speaking and leadership skills? Are you looking to meet other nutrition students? This is also a great opportunity to strengthen your resume for academic programs and/or jobs! We are looking for a new Finance Coordinator as we say goodbye to Christina once she graduates and a new Administrative Coordinator as Alyssa goes off on her exciting Internship adventure!

Job Description of Finance/Website Coordinator:

• Receive and keep an organized and detailed record of all volunteer and organization expenses
• Attend to banking needs
• Prepare tri-annual invoices for community sponsors (December, April and June)
• Reach out to our usual sponsors and secure/obtain sponsorship
• Maintain contact with financial sponsors and provide budgetary information to them upon request
• Write and mail all reimbursement cheques at the end of each volunteering term
• Maintain an updated Facebook page with current events, Nutrikids news, and fun facts
• Update blog with important volunteer, teacher and sponsorship updates
• Maintain all streams of technology for Nutrikids
• Assist in other duties in collaboration with the other coordinators

Job Description for Administrative Coordinator:

• Organize meetings, take minutes and communicate with stakeholders
• Workload is heaviest in late August/throughout September
