Sam Is Who?

Basically, if you want to get to know me enough to read this, I’ll give you everything I’ve got.

I was born in California, spent half of my life living in modest Rapid City, South Dakota (just north of Mt. Rushmore) before moving back out to California and spending my teen years bopping from city to city…honestly, I’m a nomad, and I’ve lived all over the States.

I am madly in love with another member of the UBC Blog Squad, Max Marks, we live together in Fairview Crescent.

My parents are scientists, I myself have the soul of a novelist, but don’t believe in myself enough to persue it.

I like taking photographs with my polaroid camera.

I’m loud and shy and embarrass myself with how fast I say things.

When I first applied to UBC I was turned down from a lack of credits, so I took on an extra course and wrote an essay to get in. I love this school.

I keep a Moleskin notebook where I write and draw and cut and paste my life into the pages. I call it my window.

I cry easily, but laugh easily as well.

I love the smell of bookstores and the sound of good music.

I love english, espcially metaphors and alliteration.

I’m starting to realize that I am not nearly as brilliant as I once thought, but I also have all these tiny little talents hiding below my surface. Like Tetris, I kick all kinds of ass at Tetris. My current high score is well over a million. No joke.
