Assignment 1 – Garden
In Assignment 1, students are asked to select a small-scale site in Vancouver – preferably public – and design a multi-sensorial garden. The design is required to respond to a specific health limitation (i.e., physical, mental, etc.) and provide healing or respite for those who would not otherwise have access to an outdoor space.

Assignment 2 – Urban Park
In Assignment 2, students work in teams on a specific site in Vancouver to develop an urban public park that addresses issues of accessibility, inclusivity and sustainability to improve health, ecology & social connection.
