University of British Columbia TELL-3C Bachelor of Education Students (2017). Critical media literacy and ethics. https://blogs.ubc.ca/digitalmediaandethics/introduction/

The University of British Columbia (UBC) TELL-3C students from 2017 curated a blog on technology in the classroom.  The critical media literacy section provides theoretical perspectives, practical applications, and resources while the ethics section defines and addresses cyberbullying, digital citizenship, issues of access, internet safety, as well as privacy and security.  The collection of resources was put together for teachers to develop students’ critical awareness and understanding of media and engagement with the digital world.  Although the information, images, videos, unit plans, and lesson plans are from 2017, many of the themes directly apply to the current case.  Of note, the reflections written by past Bachelor of Education students are useful excerpts for current students to connect with.
