As the IPO of Alibaba pops off in every news, it comes in front of the world’s eyes.

Alibaba, as the biggest Internet-based e-commerce business in China, shows prominent achievement. Growing from a small company, which has only 17 employees, Alibaba experienced a score of difficulties. It used to be operated without benefit for a long time, it used to compete with the global e-commerce business company—ebay, and finally, it stands on the stage of the world strongly and stably.

Many people may ask that what makes Alibaba to get here, since there were so many competitve e-commerce businesses in the world. I believe that the answer is not only the persistent spirit of Jack Ma, but also the value propositions, which is more than other businesses,   Alibaba brings to us.

Besides the newess and the proformance, which most competitors can bring to the customers, Alibaba bring us customization. During the time which Alibaba was competing with ebay, China was still in the statement of poverty. While ebay charged a little for every transaction, Alibaba charged nothing since Ma knew that the most cruicial thing to do that time is to attract more people to use the e-commerce and open the e-market but not let the high price stop pace of the clients. What’s more, Alibaba focused more on certain segments of customers and came up with more approchable promotions that making the products more accesible to customers who previously lacked access to shopping online.

In all, the value propositions that Alibaba brings to us is not just their goods at lower prices but also their customization strategy which satisfies the requirements of the local society, and accessibility.
