What does the Prof want?, a set on Flickr.
See also the posters from JumpStart 2012.
These posters are examples of using the technique of ‘found materials’ to create impromptu posters on the theme of “what does the prof want?” Put differently, this is an exercise in cutting through the student folklore of what students need to do in order to effectively learn the material presented to them in classes. The found materials posters are developed collaboratively following a class discussion on effective study, note taking, and critical thinking techniques. Students then build their posters from materials that they find in the class room and surroundings. Finally they present their poster with explanation to the entire class.
