From the UN Behavioural Science Innovation Network:

Join us on Wednesday, April 17th from 6-7 am ET for a discussion on Using Behavioural and Experimental Evidence to Inform Global Development.

Randomised evaluations can test real-world impacts of programmes intended to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Sharing insights about what works and doesn’t in global development can improve people’s lives by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence.

This session will shed light on global work in evidence generation using randomised evaluations and how the UN can leverage and build upon it in its increasing application of behavioural science.

It will feature speakers from the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and UNICEF discussing evidence sharing and evidence generation to support the Government of Egypt and UN efforts more broadly.
