In 2023-2024, the UBC-DIBS Behavioural Insights Seminar Series welcomed seven outstanding BI researchers and practitioners working to use the behavioural and decision sciences to “nudge for good”.

- Shaz Attari (Indiana University) shared several of her projects exploring “Behavioral Solutions & Challenges to Decarbonization”
- Hal Hershfield (UCLA) shared the research featured in his new book as part of “Connecting to Our Future Selves: How to Make Tomorrow Better Today”
- Rishad Habib (Toronto Metropolitan University) shared her work on “Shifting Consumer Behavior to Address Climate Change”
- Matthiew Davies (Behavioural Science Aotearoa) shared several of his projects exploring “Applying Behavioural Lenses and Insights to New Zealand’s Justice System”
- Jess Leifer (PARCA) shared the Impact and Innovation Unit’s work on “Structural and Behavioural Barriers to Greater Climate Action Among Adults in Canada: Insights from the Program of Applied Research on
Climate Action in Canada” - Anuj Shah (University of Chicago) shared his projects exploring “A Cognitive View of Policing”
