In 2024, our annual BIG Difference BC conference will explore how researchers and practitioners are “Applying Behavioural Insights to Urgent Challenges“.
- Dr. Jiaying Zhao from UBC will be delivering a keynote covering her work on both the climate crisis and cash transfers. For a sneak peek, check our her TED talk on “How to feng shui your fridge — and other happy climate hacks“, which has over 1.25 million views!
- In the afternoon, a panel will tackle different challenges stemming from the climate crisis, like planetary healthcare, area-based conservation, and disaster preparedness and response.
- Throughout the day, lightning talks and micro-presentations will demonstrate the myriad ways behavioural science is having a positive impact across a wide range of topics and sectors in BC and beyond.
