Student Financial Services welcomed two new members this summer. We are happy to have Jeff & Allan on our team, and encourage you to come and say hello if you haven’t met them yet. Unfortunately, they were both too shy to submit a photo, but all the more reason to stop by and introduce yourself (locations provided below!).
Jeff Hsiao
Jeff is the new Manager of Student Financial Support. His role includes working with Canadian and US student loans, award programs, and the UBC bursary program. If you have a loan or award policy question, Jeff is your go-to guy.
Jeff is a UBC Alumnus who previously worked at SFU in the area of Student Finance.
While he not at work, he enjoys binge watching Netflix with his son (while his little guy sleeps of course…)

Allan Lee
Allan is our new Student Financial Support Analyst who is working on the Canadian and US student loans side of things. If you have a question about the Institutional Appendix, or US Loan disbursements, Allan is always happy to help.
Allan is also a UBC Alumnus who previously worked at UBC ISI & Grad studies
Outside of the office Allan enjoys playing volleyball and basketball.
You can find him in the cubicle closest to Teresa Tsang’s office.
