Every December, Enrolment Services Okanagan has a pancake breakfast to kick off the holiday season and make the entire floor smell like bacon.
This year, we had a feast of pancakes, waffles, hashbrowns, bacon, and fruit salad. Oh and don’t forget the coffee, a vat of coffee so large it would have lasted all week.
This year’s event was put on by the newly formed Fun Committee. This group was formed following our ES wellness day when we wanted to keep the positive spirit and vibes alive, plus keep up the awarding of the coveted ES “You Did Something” trophy and “You almost did something” rubber chicken.
The food was accompanied by festive accessories such as hats, glasses and headbands, and also a re-gift exchange.
Everyone left with full stomachs and a useful gift (which may or may not be living in the bottom drawer of most filing cabinets until next year’s party)
