Getting ready for the big day!

We are going to do this presentation in the morning, as people are generally most alert in the morning. You only have five minutes to represent your colony and 2 to 3 minute question and answer session. Beware of over running, as this could be disastrous for other teams following you. It is important to remember that people find it difficult to maintain concentration for long periods of time, and this is a good reason for making a presentation short and interesting.

We are going to do this presentation in our class. Thus, you may want to practice your presentation at the same place as it can be of great benefit to be familiar with the surroundings, and you will feel more comfortable during the presentation. Moreover, it will help you to test your voice, with and without microphone, according to the size of the room, so that everyone can hear you properly. All groups will sign up for the time on the sign up sheet provided on Google doc in order to schedule presentation practice session. The teacher can provide you suggestions to improve your performance during the actual presentation. Please follow all the instructions provided in the rubrics to meet all the requirements of the presentation.
