The Teacher Centre

The Teacher Centre for ESLEO Canadian History is designed to help guide teachers through the use of the site and to help support any questions that may arise. You will find how to videos for many of the apps that the lessons call for as well as detailed plans on how to carry out the lessons.

 In purpose and goals find a clear description on the pedagogy behind the planning design as well as what this site is aiming to achieve. You will also find some hints for instructional setting.

 There are two parts to the user guide, one for the activity on connecting to history by storytelling and a second for another activity that is a simulation for confederation!

 Next you will find an assessment guide that you can use to help give your students feedback and to measure if they have met the objectives of the lesson.

 Finally, there is the popular how to  video page, complete with video! Just because you are unfamiliar with an app does not mean you should hesitate to use this site! Take a tour through each video to become more familiar with what you and your students will be using. These are great for students too!
