About Me

Hi! My name’s Meryn.  I’m a first year student in a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems.  I love to stay active by running, weightlifting, hiking, biking and doing yoga. To balance out all that activity I also love to bake, travel, read, cook and of course write. I also like bad puns, trying new restaurants, embarrassing my friends in public places and using way too many emojis. Like every other first year, I’m just trying to figure out what this ‘university’ thing is all about, and am doing so with a lot of coffee and not a lot of sleep.  I am also slightly terrible at choosy titles, so I figure I should define my blog title.  “Drizzling Digressions” refers to the rain in Vancouver (although I know it’s a lot more than a drizzle!) and my habit of going off of tangents in my writing.  Hope you find some of my posts at least the teensy-tinniest bit helpful or entertaining 🙂
