On the Run- First Week

On the Run

Hello all! I’ve been thinking of doing a quick week in review+food pics+pictures from my runs as a way to stay connected on here.  When school starts to get busy, I don’t know how much I’ll be able to post so this format allows me to expedite my posts a bit.

SOooo First Week! Crazy to think that I’m actually here at UBC and have not seen my friends and family for a whole week and a half *Gasp*.  It really hasn’t sunk in yet, mostly because the excitement of being in a new place with new people still hasn’t quieted down.  I still feel like I am staying in a hotel, albeit it one with a very small room and much friendlier people. The first week went by in a blur with all the events and classes. Now I am starting to settle in a bit, although I still do not know what assignments are due half the time or where anything is on or off campus.  Instead of going into all the gory details of my first week (and because my brain is already fried from studying RIP how am I going to make it to December??), I’ll just post some of the highlights aka the things I actually remembered to take pictures of.

Food prep for my first week- ain’t nobody got money for campus food. I will be doing a follow up post on healthy eating at UBC 🙂

Unfortunately, I didn’t really take any pictures of homecoming, but it was probably the highlight of my first week back.  It had all the things I could ever want: free food, a free lululemon tank top, sick jams, and I guess it was good that they won too! (The football thing is kind of secondary to me though).  I can’t wait to see what else these first few weeks have in store for me!
