Middle Childhood Intervention: Module One – Typical and Atypical Development

Welcome to Module 1: 6-12

Typical Development

In this Module, we look at what it means for a child to develop typically between the ages of 6 and 12 years. We discuss typical development from several different areas: adaptive skills, cognitive and language development, motor skills, social and emotional skills. We also discuss development in terms of how a child performs in school.
