First Faculty of Education Family Science Day
On October 30, 2010 we organized the first Faculty of Education Family Science Day. This was possible thanks to the support of my colleagues from the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy, our amazing staff and students, the Dean of Education and of course my family and friends. It is so great to be an organizer when so many people are helping you. I was also very happy to see so many friends in the audience and to feel that people enjoy science and mathematics. Thanks to the volunteers we were able to have 15 different mathematics, science and engineering (construction) stations, a big demo show, and very neat liquid nitrogen and electricity and magnetism experiments. We hope this event will become a tradition and I will consider this one a birth of a great Faculty of Education tradition.
