Talent Boost Tuesdays | Give your Career a Boost!

To help you feel empowered throughout your recruitment journey, we are excited to announce Talent Boost Tuesdays! Talent Boost is a mini-series of virtual events that we will be hosting throughout the month of August. Each event will feature speakers who will present on different topics to help you navigate the CPA recruiting season and set yourself apart.

See below for the session workshop topics and event details. Be sure to register in advance for the events, as registration closes the day before each session. All sessions are intended for current post-secondary students who will be applying for summer/co-op/internship and full-time positions in 2024 during the Fall 2023 CPA recruit.

1. Boost Your Networking Skills
   Speakers: Kristen Cheung, CPA (Senior Manager, FIRES Audit) and Azhar Teja (Staff Accountant, ICE Audit)
   Date: Tuesday, August 15^th, 2023
   Time: 4:00pm to 6:00pm PST
   Registration Deadline: Registration for the in-person option closes Tuesday, August 8^th at 11:59pm PST. Registration for the virtual option closes Monday, August 14^th at 11:59pm PST. Please note that we have limited capacity for the in-person component and will do our best to accommodate requests to attend in-person.
   
2. Boost Your Resume & Cover Letter
   Speaker: Tiana Tomassetti, CPA (Talent Attraction Senior Manager, GVA Campus Recruiting) and Katie Gordon, CPA (Talent Attraction Senior Manager, GVA Campus Recruiting)    
   Date: Tuesday, August 22^nd, 2023
   Time: 12:00pm to 1:00pm PST
   Registration Deadline: Monday, August 21^st at 11:59pm PST
   
3. Boost Your Interview Skills
   Speaker: Naeem Rajabali (Partner, Risk Consulting – Government Risk and Compliance Services)    
   Date: Tuesday, August 29^th, 2023
   Time: 12:00pm to 1:00pm PST
   Registration Deadline: Monday, August 28^th at 11:59pm PST

All sessions will be held virtually through Microsoft Teams, with an in-person component available for the Boost Your Networking Skills session. All details will be provided after registration is closed for each respective session.
