Career coaching & advising involves talking with Career Strategists about different aspects of your career journey.
You’re in charge! These conversations are for and about you and can dive into any career-related topic you want support with, including:

How long are coaching & advising appointments?
You can book 30-minute appointments.
How to book an appointment?
- Log in to the UBC Sauder Career Hub using your CWL
- Select Appointments from the left navigation menu
- Use the filters to narrow appointments by location, Career Strategist, or appointment type
- Select an available time under a Career Strategist’s name, then choose View Available Slots
- Enter your appointment details and select Book Appointment
Where are appointments held?
Virtual: Zoom — you will be emailed a Zoom link ahead of your appointment
In-Person with Career Strategists: In the BCC (HA155)
What if I am unable to find any career coaching availability on UBC Sauder Career Hub?
If you’re unable to find any coaching appointments on UBC Sauder Career Hub, this likely means that all upcoming appointments are booked. However, please do check regularly as new appointments are added to the schedule every 7-10 days.
How many appointments am I permitted to book?
To make sure everyone has a chance to meet with an advisor, we ask that you book no more than two appointments at a time. You may get all your questions answered in one session or leave with next steps before booking another.
