Exams

Before writing any mid-term or final exam, please ensure you’ve familiarized yourself with UBC’s policies for Student Conduct during Examinations.

All UBC DAP final exams will be written in-person at UBC Point Grey. This includes final exams for hybrid courses.

Did you know?
  1. Should you not be able to attend an exam due to extenuating circumstances that are unforeseen and unavoidable, review the program policy on Academic Concessions and follow-up with your instructor and our office accordingly.
  2. Should you start an exam and be unable to finish for whatever reason, the grade you earn is final. You will not be given another opportunity to improve your mark if you start an exam. If you are sick or experiencing problems that could affect your performance, you are strongly urged to see a doctor and consult with an academic advisor BEFORE your exam.
  3. Supplemental examinations are not offered in the Diploma in Accounting Program.

Mid-term exam schedule

Mid-term exams may be scheduled outside of regular class times. For in-person classes, exams are often held in different classrooms from the regular classroom, so make sure to review your course outlines to know when and where your mid-term exams will be held.

Final exam schedule

Upcoming final exam periods and scheduling availability dates are posted on UBC’s Exam schedule. The exam schedule is set by UBC and until your exams have been scheduled you are expected to be available for the entire exam period. Do not make travel arrangements or personal commitments until the exam schedule has been published or you have confirmed your final exam date with your instructor. Such conflicts will not be considered as grounds for academic concessions.
