Grades

Individual courses are normally graded as follows:

Letter grade	Percentage (%)
A+	90-100
A	85-89
A-	80-84
B+	76-79
B	72-75
B-	68-71
C+	64-67
C	60-63
C-	55-59
D	50-54
F	0-49

The UBC Sauder School of Business reserves the right to scale grades in order to maintain equity among sections and conform to University and faculty norms. Students should therefore note that the Faculty might change an unofficial grade given by an instructor. Grades become official once they appear on a student’s academic record.

For the 2024 Summer Session, final grades are available on Student Service Centre (SSC) under Your Grades Summary generally within 7 business days of the final exam. From 2024 Winter Session onwards, final grades will be available on Workday Student (WDS).

Repeating a course?

You may enroll in any course twice – however, grades from all attempts from any course will appear on your transcript.
