As you may be aware, UBC is in the process of transitioning student systems from the Student Service Centre (SSC) to Workday Student (WDS).
All incoming and current UBC DAP students should now have access to WDS. At this time, we expect DAP students will interact with WDS in a similar way as you currently do with SSC. Specifically, all registration activity for DAP courses (registration in new courses, transfers and withdrawals) will continue to be done through myUBCDAP:
- Add new courses through Register Now – Diploma in Accounting Program Course Registration Form (ubc.ca)
- Make changes to existing registration through Manage my Registration (drop or transfer) – Diploma in Accounting Program – Manage My Registration (ubc.ca)
As well, you can continue to view a summary schedule and timetable for the current and upcoming terms at Course Schedules – myUBCDAP.
There will be areas of WDS that will be applicable and relevant to your student journey that we encourage you to visit and familiarize yourself with. As a starting point, please review your personal information details on your profile and update as needed. Please review Personal information | Workday Tutorials (ubc.ca) for further information on how to make these updates. You may notice that other functionality isn’t available yet – these features will be rolled out in a phased approach and will come online when you need to perform key tasks.
To get started with WDS, please login with your CWL: Home – Workday (myworkday.com).
Technical Support
If you encounter technical issues with your CWL or with inaccurate data on your record, please see below for how you can find help:
- CWL issues – If you are unable to access Workday with your CWL, please request support at Problems With Your CWL? | UBC Information Technology.
- Data quality issues – If you encounter any data quality issues as you review your record in Workday Student, please reach out to Enrolment Services.
For any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at dap@sauder.ubc.ca. We recognize that this will be a major transition for our students, especially for our continuing students who are accustomed to using the SSC. This change also impacts our faculty and staff, and we acknowledge that while we may not always have immediate answers to all your questions (we’re learning alongside you!), we are committed to supporting you through this process as best as we can.
