

The UBC Sauder School of Business values the enhancement of the student experience and has committed to providing funding to support students in their professional skill development and student-led initiatives.Grants are available to current BCom, DAP, and BUCS students to cover up to 1/3 of the cost for a variety of experiences (up to $2000), including but not limited to:
- Participate in a volunteer or service-learning program
- Compete in a case competition locally, nationally or internationally
- Attend a conference locally, nationally or internationally
- Organize a new event, program or service that benefits other students
Applicants are required to demonstrate in their application the impact this experience will have on their personal, professional, or academic experience, or that of other Sauder students.

Application Process:
Submit the online application by the applicable deadline:
- Term 1 Application Deadline: October 5, 2025 (notifications by October 17, 2025)
- Term 2 Application Deadline: February 1, 2026 (notifications by February 13, 2026)

The UBC Sauder School of Business has a limited amount of funding allocated for each term. The review committee will determine the amount of funding offered to you based on a variety of factors including the impact of the funding, the benefit to students, the total cost of the experience/initiative, and funds available. Successful applicants may not receive the full amount requested.
Successful applicants will be required to submit a photo and a letter of impact outlining the skills they developed through the funded experience.If granted funding, individual applicants and clubs/services are not permitted to apply again for a minimum of two academic years.
