Doane Grant Thornton Information Session — Monday, February 23 at 5:30 PM

Calling all accounting students!

Doane Grant Thornton LLP invites you for an exciting information session at UBC Vancouver on Monday, February 23rd from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We’ll chat about who we are, what we offer, and how we support students in co-op placements and post-graduate articling roles.

The formal presentation will take place from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Pizza will be available, and there will be a fun activity where you can design your own accounting-themed tote bag.

    Between midterms and Halloween plans, why not add a skill-building opportunity to your schedule?

    The UBC TACS Clinic is hiring! This clinic offers free tax filing services for international students, newcomers, senior citizens, and more, and they’re looking for dedicated volunteers and supervisors to make it a success.

    Roles Open:

    • Volunteers: Assist clients, file basic tax returns, and help create a welcoming experience! (15 hours minimum commitment)
    • Administrative Coordinators: Oversee clinic operations, manage logistics, and support volunteers while building leadership and communication skills! (20 hours minimum commitment)

    Application Deadline: Apply by November 9, 11:59 PM PT.
